DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Has full awareness and assists Chief Concierge in managing and supervising all tasks of all Concierge Team MembersSupervises and directs Concierge and Bell Service activities and Concierge and Bell Service Team MembersResponsible for the efficient sorting and distribution of guests' and administration’s mail and documents received by Concierge section Provide information pertaining to all Hotel services, local places of interests, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours and any other information likely to be of interest to the guestsMake recommendations of the Hotel’s own F&B outlets and has full knowledge of operating hours and each outlet’s specialtyEnsure that the lobby is always kept in an orderly fashion and that ashtrays are kept cleanCoordinate the paging of guests in the lobby, F&B outlets, and where considered appropriate by the ManagementResponsible for the maintenance of the Hotel information directory and ensures that the information shown is current and accurate at all timesPrepare efficient work schedules for both the Concierge and Bell Service counters, arranging holidays and vacations, taking into consideration projected occupancy and forecasts and any large group movements, especially those with early or late arrivals/departuresHandle problems associated with guests and liaises with department heads or executive management in the absence of the Hotel Duty Manager and Chief ConciergeAct as the postmaster of the Hotel; sells stamps and ensures proper inventoryEnsure that all Concierge and Bell Service equipment are accounted for and are always in good conditionMaintain and controls the use of the luggage and storage roomsPerform related duties and special project as assignedMaintain the communication logbook of his/her sectionConduct monthly meeting of his/her section in absence of Chief ConciergeIdentify training needs and conducts training sessions accordinglyReports directly to and communicates with the Director –Hotel Services on all pertinent matters affecting guest service and Hotel operations in absence of Chief ConciergeProvides functional assistance and direction to all departmentsCooperate, coordinate and communicate with other Hotel departments as requiredProvide input for Hotel Services General MeetingsEvaluate Concierge Team Members and carries out performance appraisal as required
