What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

 

As key members of our team, the goal of the two Exam Data Analysts will be to work closely together to manage the process of scheduling examinations across the different areas we work with and create the documentation for the key delivery dates of the results for each examination series. These processes are pivotal in the successful delivery of each series and requires strong collaboration with many key internal and external stakeholders to be successful. You will use your strong skills in Excel and Power BI to analyse data on our 1.5 million exam topics to make data-driven decisions to plan our whole exam series.

 

Following our guidelines and procedures you will learn to become an expert in the complex process of creating the exam timetables and presenting your work to stakeholders for review.

 

The successful candidate will:

Be comfortable working with data (gathering, analysis & visualisation) and presenting to an audience of stakeholders.Have advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP formula and pivot tables, as well as Power BI.Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate to key stakeholders.

Good in decision-making, and able to back these up with evidence and data.Experience in creating schedules or planning tools which require you to consider various different requirements.Problem-solving skills – you enjoy looking at problems with many possible solutions and finding the best outcome.Awareness of the exam cycle and/or operational processes within the education sector.Amenability to work in UK hours and hybrid setup.Amenable to work in a project-based employment until June 2025

 

As this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, part of the selection process will require you to complete an English test and practical task prior to interview.
