We are looking for an experienced Facade Estimator who will play a critical role in accurately preparing tender submissions, cost estimates, and budgets for a wide range of façade projects, including curtain walls, window walls, and complex glazing systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in façade estimation, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This is a mid-level role, ideal for someone with strong industry experience but who is not yet looking for
senior responsibilities.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for façade works, including curtain walls, window walls,
architectural glazing, aluminum windows/doors, and other façade systems.Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and structural documentation to develop
accurate estimates.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary
information for estimating.Analyse tender documents, proposals, and contracts to identify project risks, key requirements,
and cost impacts.Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive and accurate costing for
all façade materials and services.Prepare and submit tenders and bids within specified timeframes.Assist in the review of post-tender clarifications and negotiations with clients and
subcontractors.Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and construction methodologies related to
façade construction.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

5+ years of experience in estimating, with a specific focus on façade construction (curtain walls,
glazing, window walls, etc.).Solid understanding of the façade industry, including materials, fabrication methods, and
installation processes.Experience with Australian construction codes and standards, particularly in relation to façade
and glazing systems.Proficient in estimating software Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams,
suppliers, and subcontractors.

 

Desirable Skills:

Experience working in both commercial and residential façade projects.Familiarity with sustainability and energy-efficiency standards in façade systems.Experience in negotiation and post-tender processes.
