Prepare detailed cost estimates for facade works, including curtain walls, window walls, architectural glazing, aluminum windows/doors, and other facade systems. Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and structural documentation to develop accurate estimates. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating. Analyse tender documents, proposals, and contracts to identify project risks, key requirements, and cost impacts. Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive and accurate costing for all facade materials and services. Prepare and submit tenders and bids within specified timeframes. Assist in the review of post-tender clarifications and negotiations with clients and subcontractors. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and construction methodologies related to facade construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years of experience in estimating, with a specific focus on facade construction (curtain walls, glazing, window walls, etc.).
Solid understanding of the facade industry, including materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes.
Experience with Australian construction codes and standards, particularly in relation to facade and glazing systems.
Proficient in estimating software Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Desirable Skills:
Experience working in both commercial and residential facade projects.
Familiarity with sustainability and energy-efficiency standards in facade systems.
Experience in negotiation and post-tender processes.
