  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and create professional development plans for team members.

Project Management:Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.

Technical Guidance:Provide technical direction and leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.Ensure the team adheres to best practices in coding, testing, and software architecture.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate them into the development process where appropriate.

Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).Ensure the team delivers reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Strategic Planning:Contribute to the strategic planning of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.Identify and address potential risks and technical challenges proactively.

Resource Management:Manage team resources effectively, including recruitment, task allocation, and workload balancing.Monitor and manage team productivity, performance, and morale.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams.Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.Focused on maintenance with minor development work.Extensive experience in AWS, JavaScript, and Java of any version or framework.Willing to do full onsite for the first 6 months in the Pasay office.Willing to work in a mid or night shift schedule as you will be supporting the European time zone.
