  • Monitor all quality related activities on the project
  • Perform specialized construction inspection work on project
  • Perform acceptance and rejection of services or completed work
  • Ensure that construction project plans are properly executed
  • Produces daily QA inspection reports and oversees correction of noted deficiencies
  • Perform or verify that all required construction QC sampling, testing and documentation are performed correctly
  • Provide reports of observation and test results
  • Day-to-day working knowledge of project documents, drawings, specifications & scope of work.
  • Inspect a portion of each type of work performed by Contractor/Subcontractors for correctness and compliance with project documents.
  • Notify Contractors’ QA/QC representatives of all identified deficiencies so that:
  • Contractor/Subcontractor’s QA/QC program can be modified to avert future deficiencies.
  • Remediation of deficiencies can be completed.
  • Issue and track status of all project nonconformance reports, including customer complaints. Follow up with Contractors and Construction Manager on fixing non-compliance items on a timely basis. Re-inspect finished corrective work prior to closeout of item.
  • Collaborate with Contractors’/Vendors’ QA/QC inspections of materials/equipment upon receipt for:
  • Correctness and compliance with project documents.
  • Damaged items and/or shortage.
  • Compliance with manufacturer procedures and standards;
  • Initiating, documentation and processing of claims (if required).
  • Participate in weekly QA/QC meetings.
  • Use, control and distribution of project quality documentation.
  • Assist with all internal and external quality audits of the project as directed by the Project Construction Manager.
  • Assist Construction Manager in collecting data for statistical method reporting as needed.
  • Other related duties as required.

     

    Qualifications:

  • Must be a PRC Registered Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Required Skill(s): Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, SafetyMonitor the day to day operation on site in line with safeguarding the quality and time of completion of the project including project budget with regard to Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Protection for ME.Can start ASAP
