Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing and Sales Staff member to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of procurement and sales processes, capable of managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing Responsibilities:

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Order Placement: Manage and process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues.

Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by forecasting demand, tracking stock levels, and managing reorder points. Conduct regular inventory audits.

Cost Control: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions. Monitor and analyze purchasing costs to identify opportunities for reduction.

Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Reporting: Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance to management.

 

Sales Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and offer solutions. Handle inquiries, quotations, and orders in a professional manner.

Order Processing: Manage the sales order process from order entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Coordinate with internal teams to address any issues or delays.

Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining positive relationships.

Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, including performance metrics, customer feedback, and market insights, to management.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: Previous experience in purchasing, sales, or a related role is preferred. Familiarity with procurement and sales processes within the industry is a plus.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Ability to analyze data and generate reports.Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
