Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the financial obligations of the organization by accurately processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, reconciling accounts, and maintaining proper documentation. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Review and process invoices within our various document management and accounting platforms and prepare vendor payments as needed.Work with the accounting team to complete the month-end cycle within company guidelines.Reconcile vendor statements, communicate with vendors, when necessary, and address vendor inquiries.Maintain accounts payable records, to necessary platforms.Perform additional tasks and assignments, as needed.

 

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.1-3 Years of proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounts payable principles and practices.Knowledge of the IRS 1099 process helpfulFamiliarity with General LedgerProficient in the English Language both written and verbalAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers.Self-motivated, organized, willingness to take initiative and learn new skills.Point Click Care experience and DSSI experience preferred. Must have experience in document management systems.Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook.Friendly/Outgoing - Good Customer Service SkillsAdaptabilityData Entry
