Network Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security framework and policies within an organization. You shall conduct risk assessments, develop secure network solutions, monitor for security breaches, respond to incidents, and educate staff on security best practices. Work involves a mix of technical skills, from system and network security to application and data encryption, aimed at protecting the organization from all forms of cyber threats. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Analyze potential network security incidents to identify security breaches. Investigate security breaches and make qualified decisions and recommendations for corrective action. Conducting security assessments and prioritizing findings for remediation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the organization. Designing and maintaining application and infrastructure security controls Enhancing security monitoring to detect abnormal behavior Promoting security awareness and training within the company Process and prioritize security assessment reports Design and maintain security controls for applications and infrastructure Implement WAF configurations, network segregation, and device security Enhance security monitoring and detection systems Conduct security training and awareness programs 

 

QUALIFIICATIONS 

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Security At least 5 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer Hands-on experience with applications, systems, cloud-based technologies, and network security Familiarity with cloud computing, Linux administration, and TCP/IP protocols Strong knowledge of security fundamentals and best practices CCNA Certification is a must Work effectively with other team members and departments, often remotely or across different time zones.   Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues, often under time constraints and pressure.   Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment
