Full-time on-site role for an Accounting Assistant/ Bookkeeper. The Accounting Assistant/ Bookkeeper will be responsible for collecting/receiving payments, accounting software, administrative and bookkeeping tasks. They will support the finance team and ensure accurate and timely financial records and reports are maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Preferably 2 to 3 years experience in financial statements, bookkeeping, and accounting software.Knowledge of finance and journal entries.Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., Sage or Quickbooks).Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleaguesPrior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications or degrees in finance or accounting.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

DAILY

Process invoices, billing statements, statement of accounts, following the Company's processes on billing & invoicing.Issuance of Official Receipts (ORs).Ensure timely recording of sales transactions on a regular basis (daily, weekly, and monthly).Monitor sales reports (daily & monthly)Assist in the collection of outstanding accounts receivableReconcile collections from customers on a daily basis.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including filing of documents, and safekeeping of electronic records.Perform other finance related function/task as required.

WEEKLY

Reconcile petty cash fund on a weekly basis.Maintain summary of accounts payable and aging.

MONTHLY

Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports.Provide support for month-end and year-end closing procedures.

PREFERRED SKILLS
