Position Overview

The Compensation Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support for the Global Comp team. This role under limited supervision will provide a broad range of support; have the ability to complete projects and assignments with multiple priorities under tight deadlines, have high attention to detail and must be able to deliver excellent customer service

 

What you’ll do at Insight

-Audit compensation data on teammates records and control tables with a high level of accuracy
-Deliver routine and ad hoc reporting requests as needed
-Update incentive plan assignments in HR system for comp administered plans. Distribute plan docs to teammates
-Maintain job description inventories and perform periodic audits ensuring completeness. Format documents when needed
-Provide accurate and timely responses to internal client inquiries for compensation-related reports and system generated reports
-Support administration of market database information which includes maintaining updated job information and conducting routine audits of the data
-Manage compensation team mailbox coding emails based on teammate responsibilities
-Adhere to established processes, procedures, and systems while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
-Participate in projects as assigned including annual year-end tasks
 

What you’ll need to join Insight

-Minimum of 2 year supporting compensation, human resources, or other related disciplines
-Bachelor's degree preferred
-Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
-Extremely high level of detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job
-Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple conflicting tasks within a fast-paced work environment
-Basic knowledge of HR policies and processes and compensation administration
-Ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented culture
-Well organized and uses efficient work methods and tools to get the job done
-Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
