The Accounts Payable Specialist will invoice our customers and provide detailed reporting to the Director and Vice President of Accounting and Finance to ensure consistent cash flow for Waterfield.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for invoicing customers and responding to invoicing issues.
  • Verify and record customer payments.
  • Issue and apply credit memos.
  • Build and foster cooperative relationships and communication with our customers.
  • Post account receivable payments on a daily basis.
  • Prepare weekly cash reports, cash projections, and aging reports.
  • Ensures customer balances are correct on Accounts Payables aging.
  • Assesses potential bad debt and advises on Reserve.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable balances with Accounts Payables Manager.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable Collections Specialist.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in Accounting with Microsoft Dynamics experience
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Must have experience with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
  • Outstanding customer interaction with ability to build relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Reliability and ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • Willing to work on Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone
