Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) to lead and elevate our FSQA functions. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance across our operations. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within our supply chain, sourcing strategies, and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive food safety and quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, international standards and customer requirements.Direct the activities of the food safety and quality assurance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment.Establish and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent adherence to food safety and quality protocols across the organization.Influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to foster a culture of food safety and quality as a top priority.Champion continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging the team to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance food safety and quality.Empower team members to take ownership of their responsibilities, fostering a sense of accountability and encouraging professional growth.Engage cross-functional teams (e.g., sourcing, sales, logistics) to collaborate on food safety and quality projects, ensuring alignment and communication across departments.Harmonize processes across different departments and facilities to create a seamless and efficient food safety and quality system.Envision the future of food safety and quality, identifying emerging trends and technologies that can be leveraged to gain a competitive advantage.Elevate the organization's reputation as a leader in food safety and quality, fostering trust with consumers and regulatory bodies.Collaborate with our Tech/Product teams to incorporate the PSQMS systems into the company’s internal technology tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in food safety and quality assurance, with a strong track record of leading successful FSQA initiatives.Remote Working and Multicultural skillsIn-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to food safety and quality. Specifically in BRCGS Certification.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
