China Bank is looking for an Operations Assistant to join the Remittance Business Operations Department (RBOD) – Processing Unit. In this role, you will help ensure the accurate and timely processing of incoming remittance transactions while working closely with branches, business units, partner institutions, and customers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in banking operations, transaction processing, reconciliation, and customer service.
What You Will Be Doing
• Process incoming remittance transactions from international partners and tie-ups.
• Review and verify transaction details and coordinate any corrections or clarifications when needed.
• Work with branches, Head Office units, couriers, and customers to ensure timely transaction delivery.
• Prepare accounting entries and operational reports related to remittance transactions.
• Monitor account balances and transaction statuses to support smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and databases for reconciliation, inquiries, and transaction tracking.
• Assist in handling inquiries, follow-ups, and service concerns from partners and customers.
• Prepare and submit required internal and external reports on time. What Success Looks Like In this role, success means:
• Processing remittance transactions accurately and on schedule.
• Maintaining error-free records and reports.
• Supporting the timely resolution of inquiries and discrepancies.
• Keeping transactions properly documented and reconciled.
• Building strong working relationships with internal teams, partners, and customers through reliable service and responsiveness. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in any business-related course, Banking and Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable working with reports, records, and transaction-related documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with experience in banking operations, remittance processing, or customer service are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to be assigned in Shifting Schedule.
