We bring Japanese craftsmanship, vintage kimono fabrics, and contemporary fashion together. We’re looking for someone who can share these stories with customers and help them discover why Etsuka is different. What you’ll do
• Take the lead in welcoming customers and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
• Learn our products, fabrics, craftsmanship, and stories inside and out.
• Explain the value of our pieces with genuine passion and help customers find something they truly love.
• Build meaningful relationships with customers and turn first-time visitors into Etsuka fans.
• Take initiative on the shop floor and work closely with the founders and store management to make our new retail chapter a success. Who we’re looking for You don’t need years of sales experience. You need to believe in what you’re selling. We’re looking for someone who:
• Genuinely loves Etsuka, our products, and what we’re trying to build.
• Is excited to learn about Japanese craftsmanship and can communicate our product stories with enthusiasm.
• Takes initiative, communicates well, and leads by example.
• Is reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up ready to work.
• Can handle the physical demands of an active retail environment, including standing and assisting customers throughout a shift.
• Wants to learn, grow, and become an important part of our team. Retail or sales experience is a plus, but your passion for Etsuka is our number one hiring criterion. We can teach you product knowledge and sales techniques. Genuine enthusiasm for what we do is something we want to see in you from the beginning.
