Responsibilities:
Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings from site measurements, plans and specifications Detail custom timber staircases and associated components for manufacture Prepare CAM/CNC programs and machine-ready files Design and set out curved/character staircases in StairCon/AutoCAD Program components for our Biesse Rover 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centres Check drawings and CNC programs before release to production Work closely with our Australian production team to resolve technical and manufacturing issues Maintain accurate drawings, revisions and production documentation Requirements Must-have
experience:
Seeking an end-to-end technical resource who can manage the full process from CAD drafting and detailing through to CAM programming and the preparation of CNC-ready production files, rather than focusing solely on general drafting. Strong commercial experience with StairBiz Strong experience with StairCon and/or AutoCAD, including designing and setting out curved/character staircases Solid CAD drafting and detailing experience CAM/CNC programming experience and the ability to produce CNC-ready programs/files Good written and spoken English Ability to work full-time during Australian business hours Highly desirable: Staircase or architectural joinery detailing experience Experience with both StairCon and AutoCAD Proficiency in Biesse bSolid, current CAM/CNC programming software, or similar CAM/CNC programming software Homag woodWOP and/or SmartWOP experience Experience programming Biesse CNC machinery 3-axis and particularly 5-axis CNC programming experience Timber, joinery, cabinetry or similar manufacturing experience Work Arrangement Work Setup: Hybrid Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am start time, should complete nine 9 hours work Why you should join our team Leaves entitlement, HMO and life insurance upon hire Ready to take on the next challenge?
