Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the procurement team in handling RFQs, PO processing, and supplier coordination in PUMPS production.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key suppliers, including handling escalations and negotiations
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, benchmarking, and negotiations
- Ensure timely procurement to support production and project requirements
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and implement improvement actions
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., dual sourcing, inventory planning)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance, global teams)
- Develop and enforce procurement processes, policies, and compliance standards
- Track KPIs and prepare procurement reports for management
- Coach and develop team members to improve performance and capability
- Demonstrates consistent communication with direct manager on
project status, procurement activities, and team concerns. - Responsible for updating and aligning with the direct Manager on
operational priorities and team performance. -
Demonstrates effective communication and coordination with
buyers and direct manager.
Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
