Draftsman

We are looking for a passionate and motivated team player who has a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude to join our product design and drafting team and help us transform family lives.

Experience with Australian codes and standards is valuable however we do offer comprehensive training with the view that all our team members will gain a technical mastery.

How will you contribute?

As an integral part of our technical team, you will play a key role in the designing, planning and estimating of precrafted building solutions ranging from Backyard Cabanas and Garden Rooms to Granny Flats and Holiday Cabins, Barns and Homes. This role is also responsible for following up with clients, regulatory authorities and planning/engineering contractors to speed up the regulatory approval process.

• Develop scaled plans and drawings for clients
• Use product and systems knowledge to interpret order forms and implement workable solutions
• Monitor operational pipeline to ensure jobs progressed on schedule
• Communicate with other departments to ensure accuracy
• Assist clients and builders with queries relating to their project
• Liaise with key stakeholders (i.e. clients, planners, councils, certifiers and engineers)
• Ensure compliance with NCC and Australian Standards
