About the Role

We are seeking a 
Network Engineer
 who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, customer-focused attitude. This role involves managing and optimizing network infrastructure while providing advanced support within the Service Desk. We value

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN).
  • Implement and manage network security policies and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using industry-standard tools.
  • Provide 
    Level 2/3 support
     for network-related incidents and escalations from the Service Desk.
  • Assist with endpoint connectivity, onboarding/offboarding, and related tasks.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Required Certifications

  • Cisco: 
    CCNA
     (required), 
    CCNP
     (preferred)
  • Fortinet: 
    NSE 4 or higher
  • Ubiquiti: 
    UEWA or equivalent
  • CompTIA: 
    Network+
    , 
    Security+
  • ITIL Foundation
     (for Service Desk processes)
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C01)
  • VMware VCP-NV (preferred)
  • Sophos Certified Engineer
  • Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in 
    Cisco
    , 
    Fortinet
    , 
    Ubiquiti
    , 
    Sophos
    , and 
    Check Point
     network devices and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds).
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, and firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with 
    Windows Server
    , 
    Active Directory
    , DNS/DHCP.
  • Basic scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of ITIL-based Service Desk workflows.

Experience

  • Minimum 
    3–5 years
     in network engineering or related roles.
  • Experience in a 
    Service Desk environment
     handling escalations.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance.

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
  • VoIP and QoS configuration.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
