Position Overview 
The Network Administrator is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of the organization's network and infrastructure systems. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of wired and wireless networks, servers, and related systems. The ideal candidate is highly technical, hands-on, and capable of supporting enterprise-grade infrastructure while ensuring compliance with security and operational standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Security Management 

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet Firewalls and UniFi devices (FGT, FGW, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, UniFi Access Points).
  • Design, implement, and maintain redundant network architecture to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Implement routing, manage VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and network segmentation.
  • Configure and maintain VPN solutions including SSL-VPN, IPsec, and site-to-site tunnels.
  • Monitor SD-WAN performance, load balancing, failover, and SLA availability.
  • Perform continuous network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. 

Infrastructure & Systems Administration 

  • Administer on-premise servers (Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy).
  • Manage virtualization platforms (Hyper-V).
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure including AWS (EC2, VPC, and Lightsail) and hybrid integrations.
  • Administer, optimize, and monitor storage systems (NAS/SAN).
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Security & Compliance 

  • Implement and enforce security best practices including patching, endpoint security, DLP, and SIEM monitoring.
  • Support compliance with SOC 2, NIST , ISO 27001, and related security frameworks.
  • Manage access control, identity management, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, security assessments, and support remediation activities.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and technical changes 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of IT experience in networking, systems, and security.
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, routing/switching, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with cloud (AWS) and on-prem server environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and ticketing systems.
  • Willing to be assigned in our Makati office.
  • Open to work on Mid-shift schedule.

    • Microsoft Certified
    • AWS Certified Solutions Associate
    • CCNA
    • CCNA Security
    • Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
