About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our business development initiatives in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our customer base, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning and execution.
This role requires a motivated professional with a deep understanding of logistics operations, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in logistics, warehousing, and freight forwarding.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and sales reports to management.
- Coordinate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
- Represent the company in client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and distribution services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications; familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
