About the role

Davao Central Chemical Corporation is seeking a skilled Boiler Engineer to join our team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a Boiler Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of our industrial boilers, ensuring efficient and safe performance to support our chemical manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of boilers, including start-up, shut-down, and monitoring procedures
  2. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address any issues or potential problems
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler malfunctions, and implement appropriate corrective actions
  4. Maintain detailed records of boiler operations, including fuel consumption, water treatment, and any repairs or modifications
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards
  6. Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on boiler operation and maintenance
  7. Collaborate with other engineering and production teams to optimise boiler performance and efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and PRC Licensed Engineer
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Boiler Engineer in an industrial or chemical manufacturing setting
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of boiler systems, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve boiler-related issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols
