  1. Obtains the house bank and keeps it balanced.

  2. Completes cashier pre-shift supply checklist.

  5. Assists with distribution of month end reports as directed by accounts or front office manager.

  6. Attends meetings as required.

  9. Check the billing instructions are correct for all expected departure guest setup required auto routing or auto transfer on the PMS / Guest folio.

  10. Requires experience with any PMS (Property Management System).

  11. Give on the Job training for new staffs.

  12. May also perform a variety of banking services for guests, such as check cashing and foreign currency exchange.

  13. Follow up on all deposit dues / deposit to be paid.

  14. Post charges to guest accounts.

  15. Handles paid-outs.

  16. Transfer guest balances to other accounts as required.

  17. Cashes checks for guests following the approval policy.

  18. Completes guest check-out procedures.

  19. Settles guest accounts.

  20. Dispenses guest records after the guest checkout

  21. Handles cash, traveller's cheque, credit cards and direct billing requests properly.

  22. Requires experience with cash handling.

  23. Posts non-guest ledger payments.

  24. Makes discount adjustments.

  25. Disperses guest record upon check-out.

  26. Balances department totals at the close of the shift.

  27. Balances cash at the close of the shift.

  28. Manages safe deposit boxes.

  29. Requires 6 months to 1 year of cashier experience.

  30. Requires college graduate level education.
