Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting, compliance, and financial leadership? Do you want to step into a role where you can influence strategy, manage a finance team, and make a measurable impact in the fast-moving logistics and supply chain industry?

We're looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance and internal controls, and partner with leadership in a growing mid-sized logistics/3PL organization.

What You'll Do:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee accounting operations: A/R, A/P, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare and present timely, accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze variances and provide insights to drive performance.

Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor liquidity and optimize working capital.
  • Prepare projections and manage fund transfers.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with regulations, tax filings, and audits.
  • Strengthen internal controls and safeguard company assets.

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with leadership on long-term financial strategy.
  • Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Systems & Access

  • Manage accounting system access (CargoWise preferred).
  • Oversee electronic transaction approvals (up to $250,000).

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 5–7 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with CargoWise is a strong plus.
  • Prior exposure to supply chain, freight forwarding, or 3PL industry preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php100, Php115,000.00 per month
