Senior Full Stack Engineer (Work from Home)

About the Role

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer/Architect to help build an AI-powered Cybersecurity SaaS application. You'll work across the entire stack building, scaling, and evolving our product from the ground up.

This is an early-stage founding role where you'll have real influence on architecture, product decisions, and engineering culture. If you want meaningful ownership and the autonomy to solve problems your way, this is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Build our full stack cybersecurity SaaS application from the ground up
  • Design and implement a Generative AI engine that powers the core product
  • Architect systems for reliability, scalability, and security
  • Own features end-to-end: from database design to frontend UX
  • Work directly with founders and stakeholders to shape product direction
  • Establish engineering best practices and set the technical foundation

Must Have Qualifications:

Core Experience

  • 7+ years building full stack applications (exceptions for exceptional talent)
  • Prior experience with SaaS products in production
  • Multi-tenant SaaS architecture and data isolation strategies
  • ecurity best practices for SaaS (OWASP, encryption, compliance)
  • Monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, ELK)
  • Microservices architecture and event-driven systems

Technical Stack

  • Frontend: , , TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Backend: Python, , Flask,
  • API: RESTful/GraphQL APIs, Hasura
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, NoSQL (ArangoDB or similar graph databases)
  • DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Github Actions, AWS
  • Integrations: Auth0, PostmarkApp

Nice To Have Qualifications:

AI/ML Integration

  • Experience integrating LLMs into production applications
  • Understanding of RAG systems, vector databases, or semantic search
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI model evaluation

  • You can jump into existing codebases, understand architectural decisions, and propose improvements
  • You write clean, maintainable code and care about testing
  • You think in systems and tradeoffs, and can explain your decisions clearly

  • Prior founding engineer or early-stage startup experience
  • Open-source contributions or technical blog/portfolio
