Application Developer Lead

a. Job Summary:

The role of the Application Developer is integral to the successful development and delivery of SAP solutions. This position requires a solid technical proficiency in application development both web and mobile. As an application development, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop innovative solutions for enterprise and non-enterprise applications. Your responsibilities will include understanding functional requirements, participating in the development and customization of custom programs, and ensuring smooth interfaces with non-enterprise systems. Additionally, you will be involved in unit testing, error correction, and maintaining optimal performance for existing programs.

b. Functional Duties & Responsibilities: Application Development:


• Design, code, test, and debug applications using programming tools such as .NET and others.


• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Code Reviews:


• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.


• Address and fix any identified issues in a timely manner. Testing:


• Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing as needed.


• Collaborate with functional and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects. Documentation:


• Create and maintain technical documentation for custom programs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.


• Update documentation to reflect changes made during development. Support and Maintenance:


• Provide support for existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.


• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Collaboration:
• Work closely with Application Developer Lead, functional consultants, and end-users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Others:


• Adhere rigorously to the provisions of FLI's Code of Conduct, Discipline, and Data Privacy Act policies.


• Collaborates with the Application Developer Lead to formulate and recommend service enhancements and process optimization strategies.


• Execute any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

a. Education


• Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

b. Job Experience


• Good knowledge in several approaches to software development methodologies
• Strong analytical programming's skills


• Knows dynamic programming (knowing best algorithm/approach to a challenge) good knowledge in multiple programming platforms, frameworks, and models.


• Preferred skills: JQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap, PHP, PHP Frameworks, MySQL, MSSQL , VB.NET , Oracle DB, Power BI and C# .Net.


• Three (5) years of experience is preferred but at least five (3) year's solid working experience in Application Development.


• Working experience in Real Estate related industry is preferred but not required.

c. Competencies Required


• Good knowledge in several approaches to software development methodologies and in object-oriented programming and design.


• Strong analytical programming skills, knows dynamic programming (knowing the best algorithm/approach to a challenge).


• Good knowledge in multiple programming platforms, frameworks, and models.


• Good communication skills both written and verbal.


• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
