The Receiving and Dispatch Utility Assistant/Clerk (RDUA/RDUC) supports the store's warehouse operations by handling the receiving, checking, documentation, and dispatch of goods. The role ensures that all items entering and leaving the store are accurate, well-organized, and properly recorded. RDUA focuses more on physical handling of goods, while RDUC performs more clerical and documentation tasks — but both work together to maintain smooth and efficient backroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
For both RDUA & RDUC:
- Assist in the receiving, checking, and verification of incoming deliveries.
- Ensure accurate documentation of goods received and dispatched.
- Organize, label, and prepare items for stocking or transfer to other departments.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the receiving and dispatch areas.
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, store departments, and warehouse personnel.
- Support inventory activities, including stock counting and reconciliation.
- Follow company standards, policies, and procedures in handling goods.
Additional RDUA Focus:
- Physical handling of stocks, unloading, sorting, and transferring items.
Additional RDUC Focus:
- Encoding, filing, preparing delivery receipts, invoices, and stock transfer documents.
Qualifications:
- College Graduate (any course acceptable; logistics/business-related courses are a plus)
- With or without relevant experience (training provided)
- Physically fit (for RDUA) and/or comfortable with clerical tasks (for RDUC)
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
- Organized, trustworthy, and attentive to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php550.00 per day
