About the role

As a Systems Developer at Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation / Multiplast Corporation, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical software systems that power our operations. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, where you will contribute to the strategic objectives of our organisation through your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, coding, and testing robust and scalable software applications to meet the evolving needs of the business
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions
  3. Implementing and maintaining secure, efficient, and reliable systems that optimise our operations
  4. Participating in the continuous improvement of our software architecture and development processes
  5. Providing technical support and troubleshooting to end-users as needed
  6. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
  3. Familiarity with software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  4. Experience in developing and maintaining web-based applications, databases, and RESTful APIs
  5. Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server is an advantage
  6. Preferably with basic knowledge in web frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or .NET Core
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and come up with innovative solutions
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  9. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools
