About the role

Are you an experienced medical biller looking for a new challenge? Become part of the dynamic team at Office Symmetry as a Medical Biller. In this full-time role based in Tunasan Muntinlupa City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical billing services to our clients in the healthcare sector.

What you'll be doing

  1. Accurately processing patient claims and submitting them to insurance providers in a timely manner
  2. Reviewing medical records and billing information to ensure completeness and accuracy
  3. Communicating with patients, insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues
  4. Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on billing activities
  5. Staying up-to-date with changes in medical billing regulations and procedures
  6. Collaborating with the wider customer service team to provide seamless support to our clients

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in Billing (Inpatient and/or Outpatient) within a call centre or customer service environment
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  4. Proficient in using billing software and medical coding systems
  5. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant medical billing regulations and best practices
  6. A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • BS Nursing or any Allied Medical Degree (Registered Nurse preferred)
  • Knowledgeable in ICD-10 and OASIS
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
