SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

As a Solution Architect, you will be the technical visionary behind our client solutions. You will estimate and translate client requirements into detailed, robust, and scalable technical designs, ensuring alignment with best practices and our technology stack. You will provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and beyond. This role requires a strong understanding of software architecture principles, a deep understanding of our technology stack, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of client solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Create detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation.
• Pre-sales Support: Contribute to the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise and assisting with proposal development.
• Estimation and Statements of Work: Accurately estimate the effort required for development based on client requirements and proposed solutions, contributing to project planning and budgeting for statements of work and proposals.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams during delivery, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices aligned with our technical objectives.
• Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Client Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and platforms for client projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and our company's technology strategy.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, and contribute to improving our development processes and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Experience:

• Proven experience (5 years+) as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and delivering complex software solutions.
• Experience with effort estimation techniques and methodologies.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with mobile application development (iOS and Android) is a plus.
• Experience at an Agency or Consultancy would be highly advantageous

Specific Technology Experience:

Our core technologies are React, React Native, and Flutter. Experience with all three is preferable, but one or two is acceptable on the basis that the ideal candidate is well-versed in software development and architecture methodologies and can learn or adapt as they go. The solution architect is responsible for the overall technical design.

• ReactJS/React Native: Demonstrable experience designing and architecting complex web and mobile applications using ReactJS and/or React Native, including state management solutions, component architecture, and performance optimisation.
• Flutter: Experience building cross-platform mobile applications with Flutter, including knowledge of the framework's architecture, widget system, and state management.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services relevant to application development and deployment, such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway. Experience with serverless architectures is a plus.
• Headless CMS: Experience designing and implementing solutions using Headless CMS frameworks, including custom extensions, API integrations, and data modelling.
• REST/GraphQL: Proficiency in designing and implementing GraphQL APIs, including schema design, query optimisation, and integration with backend systems.
• Javascript/Typescript/Dart: Strong understanding of our primary languages, including modern language features, asynchronous programming, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and delivering complex software solutions.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Home Office Requirements:

• Internet Connection : Must be 50 mbps at the least, preferably wired connection with PLDT, Cable connection is fine if it's more than 5mbps. We DO NOT accept plug-in, wi-fi or wimax.
• Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a good working computer.
• Headsets : The Contractor must have noise cancelling headsets preferably Plantronics Blackwire C320M headsets. Assessment will be done during test calls.
• Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php87,000.00 per month
