JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Aid the embalmer on transferring the deceased.

  2. Work out variety of tasks during funerals in coordination with the funeral director.

  3. Transport the deceased to the funeral home (wake), interment/cremation site.

  4. Attend to the needs of the bereaved.

  5. Deliver/purchase items.

  6. Act as pallbearer.

  7. Clean funeral parlors or chapels.

  8. Issue and store funeral equipment.

  9. Work out general maintenance tasks for funeral homes, such as maintaining equipment or caring for funeral grounds.

  10. Clean and drive funeral vehicles, such as cars or hearses, in funeral processions.

  11. Performs all other related duties that maybe assigned from time to time. (ex. attend funeral related gatherings, perform Llamada, etc.)
