Our Energy Group is looking for Senior Power System Engineer, we'll support you every step of the way as you join us in finding sustainable energy solutions to make a positive impact that will last for generations. This position offers good variety of work and will see you involved in:Power systems planning and analysis

Provide technical support to power projects being delivered across AustraliaDevelop power system analysis computer models and configure these to comply with the local and national regulatory requirements.Generate reports for Clients, Network Companies and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO)Support project managers and bid coordinators to prepare successful proposals for wining new work

Contributing to the overall functioning of the Business Group.What You Will Bring To The TeamAt least 8 years' experience in power system analysis and planning

You will be able to demonstrate capability in power systems analysis software and tools including PSS/E, PSCAD EMTDC, Powerfactory, Matlab Simulink, and Python. Working knowledge of the Australian National Electricity Rules or similar grid codes relating to the expansion of the power system and the interconnection of new generating sources and/or the modification of existing ones will be beneficial. Knowledge and experience with primary and secondary systems, transient stability assessment, load flow and fault analysis, transmission system planning, generator connection and performance assessment, renewable energy systems integration, control system and inverter systems

You will have a broad experience in the use of power system analysis methods and processes, including load flow and short circuit studies, transient stability analysis, small signal stability and voltage stability studies. You will need strong communication, report-writing skills and be comfortable attending stakeholder meetings. This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base / location.
