What You'll Do in This Role

Be part of our client's team as a Revenue Analyst where you'll handle order processing, contract reviews, and revenue reporting. You'll ensure accurate recognition of revenue, maintain data integrity, and prepare monthly reports-all while sharpening your expertise in financial systems.

What You Need to Succeed

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in revenue accounting and/or order entry
• Strong knowledge of order entry and management processes
• Thorough understanding of contract documentation and revenue recognition data
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Intacct, and Workday Financials (strongly preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid grasp of data quality and integrity, with ability to support all transactions with proper documentation
• Strong skills in data processing
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with sound business ethics
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment while maintaining speed and accuracy
• Enthusiasm for working with complex contract terms and serving as the primary resource for order processing activities

What You'll Be Doing

• Process orders, including new, renewal, and cancellation/change requests
• Review underlying contract documents for accuracy and compliance with revenue recognition standards
• Assess quotes and opportunities from the Sales team for correct revenue recognition methods, dates, billing frequencies, product selections, and terms
• Review system-to-system data integration between Salesforce and Accounting ERP to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Validate key fields for appropriateness based on upstream system data
• Prepare monthly revenue reports and analyze customer account fluctuations to identify key drivers of change
• Assist in balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred revenue and accounts receivable
• Support month-end closing processes
• Perform accurate and timely order entry and contract modifications, ensuring deal documentation is complete and compliant
