Position: Head of Delivery (Agile & Project Execution)

Schedule: Day Shift

Work Set-up: Hybrid in Mandaluyong (3x Onsite & 2x WFH)

We are seeking an experienced Head of Delivery (Agile & Project Execution) to establish and lead our delivery function. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing project delivery processes, Agile practices, and ensuring successful execution of our technology initiatives across NetSuite ERP, Shopify e-commerce, and internal systems platforms. This leadership role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to build a scalable delivery practice that supports our growing technology organization.

Role Scope & Boundaries

This role is accountable for how initiatives are delivered, including delivery frameworks, execution, resourcing, and predictability.

Product strategy, roadmap ownership, and prioritization decisions remain with Product Management and business stakeholders. The Head of Delivery (Agile & Project Execution) partners closely with Product and Business teams to ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently, predictably, and at high quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership & Strategy

• Own and enforce delivery standards, methodologies, and ways of working across all technology teams
• Lead delivery-related decision-making on sequencing, resourcing, and execution trade-offs
• Escalate delivery risks, capacity constraints, and priority conflicts to executive leadership
• Recommend project re-sequencing or scope adjustments to protect delivery quality and timelines
• Act as the final escalation point for delivery issues across programs and teams

Process Implementation & Optimization

• Design and implement standardized delivery processes and workflows
• Establish Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) appropriate for different project types
• Create and maintain delivery documentation, templates, and best practices
• Implement and optimize project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with delivery standards across all teams

Team Development & Management

• Build and mentor the delivery team (currently 1 Project Manager, growing to team of 4-6)
• Develop career paths and growth opportunities for delivery professionals
• Provide coaching and training on Agile methodologies and delivery practices
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Provide transparent reporting to executive leadership on delivery status
• Facilitate portfolio prioritization and planning sessions
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communications
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivery execution
• Present delivery metrics, risks, and recommendations to leadership

Quality & Risk Management

• Implement quality assurance processes for delivery
• Establish risk management framework and mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope
• Monitor and improve delivery predictability and success rates
• Implement lessons learned and retrospective practices

Qualification

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in project/program management with 3+ years in leadership
• Proven experience implementing and leading delivery practices
• Strong background in both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with ERP implementations (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience with e-commerce or digital platform delivery
• Track record of building and scaling delivery teams

Technical & Methodological Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience with delivery metrics and reporting
• Knowledge of portfolio and resource management
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or similar certifications
• NetSuite implementation experience
• Shopify platform delivery experience
• Background in retail, distribution, or manufacturing
• Experience in technology consulting or professional services
• Advanced degree or MBA

Certifications (Preferred)

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM)
• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or similar scaled Agile certification
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
