QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Attainment/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related
  • At least 3 years experience as a Full Stack Engineer
  • Experience with backend frameworks (such as Java Spring, or PHP Laravel/CodeIgniter/Symfony, or C# ASP.NET Core) and web frontend frameworks (such as , )
  • Experience with SQL databases (such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DB2)
  • Experience with development tools (such as Maven, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Postman, SOAP UI) and version control tools (such as Git, Subversion)
  • Experience with application development for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization platform
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of any agile software development methodologies and clean code practices
  • Strong understanding of test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) and unit testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge in different Banking Applications/Systems such as but not limited to: Cash Management, Payments, Remittances, Trade Finance, General Ledger, Accounting, Treasury, Trust, Equities, Tellering, Loans Management/Origination, Leasing, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the translation of user requirements from company's business unit into software requirements to ensure the applications adequately meet their needs
  • Designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and improves IT business applications as a member of the engineering team
  • Delivers API solutions that streamline, simplify and improve company's operations/products; Produces fully functional, robust and scalable code which is well written/documented
  • Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet related tools
  • Scales system sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolves systems by motivating changes that improve reliability and velocity
  • Researches, trains and advocates novel technologies and tools to ensure the latest trends and developments are considered as part of the company tech platforms, applications and etc.
  • Supports a positive and collaborative digital delivery culture with a philosophy of continuous improvement, development, innovation and excellence, while remaining in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures and upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.

Work set-up: Temporarily WFH (2x a month onsite)
