Position Overview

CKAT Architects + Engineers is looking for a Registered and Licensed Architect to join our team as an Architectural Designer. The successful candidate will bring strong design expertise, technical knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs aligned with client goals and project requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive design presentations, 3D models, and renderings using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and constructible designs.
  • Produce accurate construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and design standards.
  • Participate in client meetings, coordination sessions, and design presentations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
  • Work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • Registered and Licensed Architect (PRC-licensed or equivalent certification).
  • Minimum of 3–7 years of architectural design experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Strong design and visualization skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary projects is a plus.
