The Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and stability of the organization through effective financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, regulatory compliance, and provides strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

With a core focus on land development, subdivision sales, and perpetual-care fund management for memorial park operations, the Financial Manager will manage project cash flows, monitor development budgets, and ensure that financial strategies are aligned with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Manage cash flow forecasting, project budgeting, and cost tracking across development phases.
  • Conduct financial modeling and projections for new land acquisition and development projects.
  • Prepare monthly executive management reports and financial performance summaries.

Funding, Compliance & Reporting

  • Oversee funding sources, including bank financing, and ensure compliance with loan covenants.
  • Lead financial statement preparation, including BIR and LGU-related tax filings and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC/BIR regulations and Philippine taxation requirements.

Coordination & Financial Controls

  • Coordinate closely with project engineers, sales teams, and accounting staff to ensure budgets and actual results remain aligned.
  • Supervise trust fund management, specifically perpetual-care funds for memorial park operations.
  • Support the development and enhancement of internal financial control systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • CPA preferred, but not required for experienced candidates with solid property development or memorial park finance background.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in real estate development, construction finance, or related industries.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, SAP Business One, and strong Excel-based financial modeling skills.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine taxation, LGU obligations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record in setting up finance structures, processes, and department workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
