About the role

We are seeking talented Chemical Technicians to join the dynamic team of our client. As a Chemical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the laboratory operations, contributing to the success of the technology-driven organization. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting a variety of chemical and physical analyses to ensure the quality and consistency of our products and processes
  • Preparing and handling chemical reagents, samples, and equipment with meticulous attention to detail and safety protocols
  • Documenting and reporting all test results and observations in a clear and organised manner
  • Troubleshooting and identifying potential issues in laboratory procedures or equipment, and proposing solutions
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organised laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Collaborating with the research and development team to support the development of new products and processes
  • Providing technical support and training to other laboratory staff as required

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
  • A registered Chemist and Chemical Technician is preferred for the position
  • An entry level with PRC license is acceptable for the role
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and following standard operating procedures
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of chemistry and laboratory techniques
