What you will be doing

As a Backend Developer at Avensia, your days will involve everything from integrating the e-commerce site with other customer systems to building the business logic for the customer. You will also be contributing to, and evolving, our internal products and packages. Together with us, you will evaluate the latest techniques, architectures, and frameworks to see if they can enhance our offering.

Your work will often include implementing Order Management Systems (OMS) as well as integrating with PIM, CRM, and payment solutions to create efficient and connected digital ecosystems. With us, you typically work in an in-house team of anywhere from 4 to 15 of your highly competent colleagues.

You will be using agile development methods, collaborating with developers, designers, software architects, and project managers to create intuitive, lightning-fast, and user-friendly experiences for our customers. We use GitHub for version control and collaboration, ensuring efficient workflows and high code quality. In some cases, other setups may occur depending on the project and customer needs.

At Avensia, we build our solutions using modern technologies and tools such as .NET (C#), React, TypeScript, and Our development and delivery processes are supported by Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring reliable deployments and scalable infrastructure.

Avensia is originally a Swedish company, and you will work closely with colleagues in both the Nordics and Cebu as part of an integrated, international organization.

Who you are

We are looking for a senior developer with a strong background in backend development and a genuine passion for building high-performing digital commerce solutions. You are curious, solution-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment where you can both share your expertise and continue to learn from others.

We believe that you have:

• Several years of professional experience working with .NET/C#.

• Solid understanding of Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

• Experience with – or a strong interest in – Order Management Systems (OMS).

• Experience with e-commerce and platform such as Optimizely or Commercetools is a plus.
