Job Brief
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on employee relations, recruitment, documentation, and policy compliance. This role also provides limited support to recruitment and onboarding activities as needed. It is ideal for individuals who are passionate about employee support, workplace fairness, and HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
Employee Relations & HR Administration
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee concerns, inquiries, and routine HR-related matters, escalating issues when necessary.
- Champions in handling employee relations cases, including documentation of incidents, disciplinary actions, and follow-through on HR processes.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential employee records (201 files, digital records, and HR systems).
- Prepare HR-related documents such as memos, notices, certifications, and employment records.
- Assist in the dissemination, communication, and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Support HR in ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal controls.
- Help track and monitor compliance-related documents and employee acknowledgments.
- Provide support in onboarding activities, including preparation of orientation materials and coordination of schedules.
- Assist with recruitment documentation and coordination as needed.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including filing, data entry, report preparation, and calendar coordination.
- Support special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in employee relations, HR administration, or HR operations is preferred.
- Background in recruitment is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-handling skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HR systems experience is a plus.
- A proactive, supportive, and collaborative team player.
