About the Opportunity

Are you ready to make an impact at a global level? We're looking for a highly driven Business Controller / Finance Business Partner (AVP) to join a high-performing team of senior finance professionals operating at the center of decision-making across an international banking organization.

In this strategic finance role, you'll be a key advisor to senior leaders, directly supporting Head Office (HO) functions. This is not a traditional accounting or project control position — this is true finance business partnering, where your insights will help shape performance, drive efficiency, and support transformation initiatives at a global scale.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HO Function leadership, offering finance-driven strategic guidance
  • Lead and challenge the budgeting and forecasting process, aligning with key stakeholders
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership decision-making
  • Drive cost modeling, allocations, and efficiency analysis across business units
  • Provide financial expertise to transformation programs and strategic initiatives
  • Communicate confidently and clearly with senior global stakeholders across functions
  • Manage and prioritize multiple high-impact deliverables in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

    (MBA, CPA, CMA, FP&A, or other certifications strongly preferred)
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business control, or finance business partnering
  • Strong business acumen and ability to link financials to strategic outcomes
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Organized and adaptive, with strong prioritization skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Comfortable navigating a complex, global, and matrixed organization
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

    (Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, SmartView, or IBM Planning Analytics is a plus)
