Job Summary

Performs at all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Project Manager and Trade Contractors the technical details of Architectural, Structural and MEPFS works of the project.
  • Supervises the preparation of Body Plans, Wall Setting-out Plans, Shop Drawings, As-built Drawings, and all other plans and drawings assigned to the department.
  • Attends and at certain times, conducts technical meetings.
  • Reviews the Architectural, Structural, and MEPFS plans.
  • Reports discrepancies or design issues between the Architectural, Structural, and MEPFS plans to the Project Manager. He/she shall prepare the necessary clarificatory documents.
  • Monitors and follow-up the resolution of the discrepancies or design issues in the Construction Drawings. Reports to the Project Manager the delays in the resolution of the design issues and provide sound recommendation.
  • Reviews rehashed estimates of architectural works included in the project contract.
  • Ensures that the drawings released on site for implementation are accurate and updated.
  • Recommends value engineering or cost-saving measures to the Project Manager.

Qualification and Skills Requirement:

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture
  • Minimum of 5 year's relevant experience in the Construction industry.
  • In-depth understanding of structural, mechanical and electrical engineering relating to building costs.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD
