Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or related course
  • Registered Pharmacist with valid PRC license
  • Having an experience is an advantage, but not required

Job Description

  • Checks the near-expiry or expired medicines and medical supplies in his/her assigned area and ensures that these are duly labeled and/or segregated, as needed;
  • Recommends to patients and/or watchers alternative medicines based on generic name of branded medicines, upon the patient's or watcher's request
  • Performs record-keeping requirements prescribed by law, such as but not limited to those requiring recording of certain discounted sales transactions to senior citizens and/or persons with disability;
  • Report to Management on the performance of the QM & EMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
  • Fills out prescriptions, dispenses requested drugs, and validates such prescriptions as necessary;
  • Files prescriptions and maintains for the required number of years as prescribed by law
  • Records invoices, receipts, inventory, and issuances of controlled drugs in control logbooks or sheets;
