About the role

Join the Daily Supermarket, Inc. team as a Cashier in our Cubao, Quezon City location. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently
  3. Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods correctly
  4. Bag purchases and ensure customers receive their items in good condition
  5. Respond to customer inquiries and assist with any issues that may arise
  6. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  7. Adhere to all store policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a cashier in Supermarket
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
  4. Excellent math and problem-solving skills
  5. Proficient with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  6. Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
  7. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
