About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Programmer with a focus on web development and data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of both front-end and back-end programming, along with a keen interest in working with databases and data workflows. You will support the development and maintenance of responsive web solutions and assist with data integration, reporting, and automation tasks in a collaborative team environment. In addition to core programming duties, you may also be assigned other IT-related tasks such as providing support for existing systems, debugging issues, preparing technical documentation, or assisting with system and process analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Write and troubleshoot basic SQL queries, including DML and DDL operations
  • Assist in data cleaning, transformation, and reporting workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal systems and data needs
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and documenting software projects
  • Support data analysis tasks to help teams make informed business decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in PHP-based web development (academic, freelance, or internship)
  • Basic experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases such as MySQL/MariaDB
  • Exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL-based reporting, or BI tools)
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Interest or coursework in data science or analytics
  • Familiarity with advanced SQL (joins, aggregations)
  • Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with Python or R for data manipulation or visualization
  • Basic understanding of Python-based frameworks like Frappe is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas)

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple small projects
  • Strong collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams
