The Officer for Internal Audit supports the Internal Audit Manager in executing operational, financial, compliance, and governance audits across the organization. The role contributes to strengthening internal controls, improving risk management processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in audit planning and execution by performing walkthroughs, control testing, and data validation in accordance with audit programs and IIA standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, evaluate internal control systems, and identify process gaps and improvement areas.
  • Maintain organized working papers, ensuring proper documentation and audit trail for internal and external reviews.
  • Prepare draft audit reports highlighting findings, risk implications, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with business units and process owners throughout audit engagements to ensure transparency and timely resolution of issues.
  • Support governance, risk, ethics, and anti-fraud initiatives to strengthen organizational integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and contribute to continuous improvement of audit practices and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, or a related field.
  • Preferably a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, risk, or compliance; exposure to real estate, construction, or project auditing is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
