WordPress Developer

About the role: Join Growthify and build high-converting WordPress websites for leading Australian businesses. We're looking for a skilled WordPress Developer (3+ years experience) to work directly with our founders in a small, collaborative team environment.

Growthify is a results-driven digital agency specialising in WordPress website design and conversion optimization. You'll be responsible for developing, customising, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites, with a strong focus on Elementor page builder and delivering visually appealing, conversion-focused designs.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain responsive WordPress websites with a strong focus on Elementor
• Customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements
• Optimise websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices
• Ensure mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible designs
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to bring creative concepts to life
• Troubleshoot and resolve website functionality and performance issues
• Maintain and update existing client websites as needed
• Work directly with Australian founders on website strategy

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience in WordPress website development (minimum 3 years)
• Advanced proficiency in Elementor (required)
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with WordPress theme development and customisation
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimisation techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
• Strong portfolio of WordPress websites built using Elementor (portfolio link required)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRMs
• Knowledge of security best practices for WordPress
• Understanding of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
• Exposure to Claude Code or other AI-assisted coding tools for productivity

Equipment & Tools:

• Brand new Mac computer with all development software and licenses
• High-speed internet and modern workspace setup
• Access to paid AI tools including Midjourney, Flux, GPT Image, Veo 3
• Access to Claude Code
• External monitors and ergonomic workspace setup

Work location: Onsite at WrkPod — choose Cebu City, Dumaguete, or Bacolod. Modern workspace with high-speed internet, meeting rooms, and a collaborative team environment. Close to city amenities.

Compensation and benefits:

• ₱40,000 – ₱45,000 per month (based on experience)
• Health insurance (HMO) through Generali
• ₱20,000 bonus after successful 6-month probation
