Key Responsibilities


• Responds immediately to repair calls from Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor and/ or Production Operators.


• Performs routine check-up on all running plant equipment to prevent machine breakdowns.


• Perform root cause analysis of troubles or issues to prevent recurrence.


• Performs mechanical installations, and other related jobs including Plant Mechanical and/or Electrical Systems installation, verification, data gathering, piping lay-out validation, modification and updating.


• Monitors all machinery and equipment in the facilities area to make sure that all parameters, pressures, temperatures, voltage, frequency, etc. are within requires running condition.


• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance repairs on mechanical and/or electrical components of equipment.


• Monitors equipment parameters as maybe directed.


• Monitors and provides servicing of all Air compressors, Boilers, ACU's, Dehumidifiers, Refrigeration Units, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Cold Storage, Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems


• Prepare Daily Accomplishment Report at the end of the shift.


• Comply with the current company relevant maintenance methodology and use of company CMMS Software as system tools on Asset and Job order management.


• Develop and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing operations.


• Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize productivity.


• Willing to share his knowledge on maintaining equipment and basic technique to production operators to eliminate force deterioration of machines.


• Work in staggered Rest days as required by his position/function.


• Acts as back-up or reliever in the operation of Utility machineries during absence or inadequate manpower.


• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time

Qualification: Education/Experience:


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Must be PRC licensed CPM or RME.


• With at least 2 to 3 years' work experience in food manufacturing or in maintenance department


• Proficiency in SAP (Maintenance Module) or any Computerized Maintenance Management System Software


• Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to use mechanical, electrical and refrigeration tools, ability to understand and follow direction.


• Ability to understand and interpret Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Diagram and P&ID.


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


• Familiarity with CAD and other mechanical design software is an advantage but not required.
