ERP Functional Finance Consultant

The Consultant supports the day-to-day management, troubleshooting, and optimization of Certinia's Finance suite (formerly FinancialForce), helping to streamline operations and enhance the internal user experience. The Consultant will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to ensure the Certinia platform supports accurate, efficient, and scalable financial operations.

Essential Functions

  • Support the setup, maintenance, and optimization of Certinia Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
  • Handle user support and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to recommend process and system improvements.
  • Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and documentation.
  • Participate in testing, upgrades, and implementation of new features.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or ERP systems.
  • Experience with
    Certinia Finance
    is a plus — or
    willingness to be trained
    on it.
  • Background in other ERP Finance platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, etc.) is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
