About Us
Campus Guardian Angel is the school safety arm of Mithril Defense, a U.S.-based defense technology company that's been featured on national news and across dozens of states.
We're building a new category in safety: pilot-operated, non-lethal drones delivered as a managed service. Our mission is simple: give staff and first responders visibility and time in the first minute of a crisis - so students, teachers, and communities can get to safety.
Our team includes Navy SEALs, SWAT veterans, engineers, and some of the best drone racing pilots in the world. It's not the usual mix, but that's the point - we're not here to do business as usual.
Why This Role Exists
We're scaling fast and every campaign, sales pitch, and press feature depends on world-class design that builds trust. From investor decks to case studies to national PR, we need someone who can make our brand look as sharp as our tech.
That's why we're hiring a Senior Graphic Designer. Someone who will own the design system that fuels how the world sees Campus Guardian Angel.
Job Description/ What You'll Actually Do Here
Your work will touch almost every part of the business. In a given week, you might:
- Build out a set of graphics for a LinkedIn campaign targeting school leaders.
- Design a case study that helps a sales director win over a hesitant board.
- Create a press-ready media kit for our next demo event.
- Maintain our brand guidelines so everything — from flyers to websites — feels consistent and credible.
- Work closely with sales to design decks, one-pagers, and visuals that simplify complex stories.
- Experiment with motion graphics and video snippets to boost engagement.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who's not just a designer but a brand builder.
You're probably the kind of person who:
- Has 5+ years of professional design experience (agency, startup, or in-house).
- Can design across formats: digital ads, decks, case studies, web, social, and print.
- Knows how to take input from sales/marketing and translate it into compelling visuals that drive results.
- Has strong technical skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, etc.).
- Bonus: motion graphics and video editing.
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly.
